How this set differs from a standard travel charging kit
Where a basic travel tech gift set typically pairs a power bank with just a charging cable and adapter, this configuration swaps in an audio adapter alongside the power bank and travel adapter — a small change that matters specifically for travellers dealing with older headphone jacks or audio equipment that doesn't match a newer device's port.
Who actually needs the audio adapter
- Travellers still using wired headphones rather than wireless, particularly on long-haul flights
- Staff connecting to presentation equipment or projectors with mismatched audio ports
- Anyone travelling with older personal audio gear alongside a newer phone or laptop
Choosing between the two Skross sets
If your gifting audience skews toward standard business travel — charging and plug compatibility being the main concern — the cable-and-adapter version covers the more universal need. If your audience is more likely to be using wired audio equipment while travelling, the audio-adapter version adds a genuinely useful extra rather than a redundant one.
Gifting at scale
For a large gifting run where you're unsure which set your recipients would use more, it's worth asking your printer about splitting an order across both configurations rather than committing the entire batch to one variant.
